Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged kitchen sink drain. We removed the sink’s P-trap and drain assembly; used a sewer machine down through the sink's drain line and cleared the blockage; once cleared, replaced the P-trap and drain assembly; and tested for leaks and proper drainage. We also provided a cost estimate to replace a kitchen sink's under-sink drain assembly, P-trap, and drain line through the floor to under the house in the crawlspace, and to where it ties into the main sewer drain stack, with new PVC piping and fittings.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak underneath the home. We found a leak on a galvanized water supply line. After shutting off the water, we cut out the leaking section of pipe and repaired it with a new Jones Stephens C11050 galvanized compression coupling. We then cut the water back on, drained out any debris at an outside hose bib spigot, and tested for leaks with no further issues.
Pride Plumbing was called by the customer to come out and replace a bathroom sink's P-trap due to it being coming loose and leaking. We removed the P-trap, replaced it with a new customer-supplied P-trap, and tested for leaks with no further issues.
Pride Plumbing came out, and after performing an inspection, provided cost estimates to either rebuild an AquaSource toilet tank’s flush assembly (this would include replacing the tank's gasket and bolts, water fill valve, flapper, and above-floor braided stainless steel water supply line) or replace the toilet with either a new customer-supplied model or a new Pride Plumbing-supplied Gerber Viper model (this would include draining and pulling the old toilet, inspecting/cleaning/replacing its flange, replacing its toilet bowl, toilet tank, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line).
Pride Plumbing was called out for a broken three-handle bathtub/shower valve. After shutting off the water and cutting an access in the wall, replaced bathtub/shower faucet valve with a new Delta R10000-PX rough-in valve; added a Delta Basic 13 chrome trim kit (replacing the shower head, valve cover and handle, overflow cover, and downspout push button diverter); converted the valve's copper above-floor hot and cold water supply lines to PEX piping - tying them into the home's existing copper main water lines; and installed a plastic plumbing access panel over the hole we cut in the wall. We also pulled a Gerber toilet and tightened down its flange to stop it from leaking at the toilet bowl. We reset the toilet and tested for leaks with no further issues.
Pride Plumbing was called out for sewage backing up into a kitchen area. We used a water pressure device down through a floor drain at a prep area and cleared the blockage. We tested the floor drain and multiple fixtures for proper drainage with no issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the floor drain’s drain assembly and drain line through the floor to under the building, and to where it ties into the main sewer drain stack, with new PVC piping and fittings.

We ensured that the new piping was securely supported by metal floor joist strapping. Also, underneath the sink, we added an air admittance valve to the new drain line.

After shutting off the water, we dug down and found the leak on a section of the black roll outside main water supply line. We cut out the leaking section of pipe and repaired it with new PEX piping and fittings. We then turned the water back on, flushed out any debris at an outside hose bib spigot, and tested for leaks with no further issues. We also provided a cost estimate to trench a ditch from the water meter to the home and replace the black roll main outside water supply line with new black roll and PEX piping and fittings along with installing a new pressure reducing valve (PRV) and ball water shutoff valve at the water meter.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking 40-gallon electric American E62-40R-045DV water heater with a new 40-gallon electric Bradford White RE340S6-1NCWW model. First, after disconnecting its electrical connections and inlet and outlet water lines, we removed and disposed of the old water heater. Then we installed water heater pads, the new water heater, ball water shut-off valves, PEX and stainless-steel water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a brass drain valve, and wired up the electrical connections to the new water heater (adding a Romex connector). Finally, we bled the air out of the water lines, ensured that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and set the unit to its appropriate operating temperature.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a faulty pressure reducing valve (PRV) (attaching it to the existing copper main water supply line coming into the building with new copper piping and copper ProPress fittings and adding a ball water shutoff valve and pressure gauge). We will then go through the building and bleed the air from the water lines and test all the fixtures for proper operation.
