Pride Plumbing was called out for issues with two toilets - one was making a noise behind the wall and the other wasn't flushing properly. For the toilet that was making a noise, we found that the noise was coming from a hose bib spigot that was located outside the wall of the bathroom. For the toilet with flushing issues, we adjusted the position of the chain on the flapper as well as the position of the trip lever handle so that the flapper wouldn’t get caught on the handle's pivot rod.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak on an ABS pipe attached to a sump pump in the basement. Our inspection found that the leak was on a 2-inch 90-degree ABS elbow coming from the sewage pump. We replaced several feet of the ABS piping with new PVC piping and fittings, cut out a PVC ball valve all the way up to 2-inches below where the sewer pump connects to the sewer line, installed a new ball valve, PVC coupling and a 90-degree elbow, used a Fernco coupling to transition the pipe from PVC to ABS, tested for leaks, and the issue was corrected.

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a non-working tankless water heater with a new Navien 240A tankless model with a circulation pump. This would include 1) removing and disposing of the old water heater along with its venting and gas and water supply lines; and 2) installing the new tankless unit along with its service valves, PEX and stainless steel water lines to the unit's water connections, copper gas supply line, gas regulator, exhaust and intake lines, lighting and programming the water heater, and ensuring that the unit was properly vented. The cost estimate also included installing a mixing tee underneath a bathroom sink to allow hot water to be readily available at a bathroom at the back of the home.

Pride Plumbing was called out for sewage backing up into the home. Our inspection determined that the customer's septic tank was full. We advised the customer to contact a septic tank pumping service to come out and pump the tank. We also provided price quotes to replace a toilet with either a new Gerber Viper comfort height or round front model. This would include inspecting/replacing the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line.

We replaced the sink's basket strainer, slip joint nut, and slip joint nut washer, and corrected the issue.
